Amy Lovett
Senior Lecturer in Equine Medicine
School of Veterinary Science
Amy is a specialist in large animal internal medicine board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). Following graduation (BVSc, University of Melbourne, 2013), she completed an Australian equine internship, a residency in equine internal medicine at Oklahoma State University, as well as a fellowship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Kentucky. Prior to specialty training, Amy also spent two years in general equine practice in Australia and North Carolina. At Massey, Amy supervises BVSc5 clinical training and the ACVIM-LAIM residency program. Additionally, Amy is the course coordinator of BVSc4 'equine clinical studies' and participates in equine clinical research.

Amy Lovett's areas of research interest are: equine gastroenterology, neonatology, endocrinology, haemostasis and critical care.
