2008  Visiting Guest Poet at Palmerston North  City Library’s ‘Stand-up Poetry’

 2009  A poetry performance with Karlo Mila and others at Square Edge, in a musical collaboration 'Eyes in the Skies'.

 2009  “Through the leaves of hedges, Pākehā ears” was exhibited along with other poetry and visual prints for Eyes in the Skies, a Matariki exhibition.

2011 “My life with Ceramics” was performed with Tim Upperton Joy Green, Helen Lehndorf and others at Te Manawa Art Gallery, in conjunction with the Len Castle ceramics exhibition.

2012 “The stillest things” and “On travelling” were performed as part of the Festival of New Arts.

 2014  “We were all pure once” was performed at  the Festival of New Arts.

Margi's visual art has been exhibited at Hawkes Bay Cultural Trust Museum and Art Gallery, at NZ Academy of Fine Arts, Snails Artists Run Space, the Hawkes Bay Arts Review at Central Hawkes Bay, and sold through Taylor-Jensen Gallery.

 2008    “She steps from behind” Second prize in the national Northland poetry competition.

 2015: "Puanga"  Third place in KUPU poetry competion.
