Sujatha Gomathi Nayagam MA
Kaitakawaenga - Facilitator Early Years
Institute of EducationI have been in the field of early childhood education for the past 13 years in New Zealand, which includes time spent in academia and the early childhood sector. As a facilitator, I lead my learners to think, link and create novel opportunities for children.
I enjoy being research active, my current research is centred on the discourse of language, culture and identity of migrant families in Aotearoa. I am multilingual and my interest in te reo Māori led me to do my Masters thesis on the experiences of early childhood student teachers in the practice of Māori language.
