Dr Kealagh Robinson (she/her) is a senior lecturer at the Wellington campus, Her research uses experimental, longitudinal, and meta-science approaches to understand emotion and emotion regulation, with a specific emphasis on how these factors underpin self-injurious thoughts and behaviours. Kealagh joined the School of Psychology in 2023. In addition to her research, she teaches undergraduate courses in cognitive and experimental psychology. She is also involved in a number of professional activities, including serving as Secretary of the International Society for the Study of Self-Injury,

Graduate Supervision Statement

As a research supervisor, I am passionate about working alongside junior colleagues to support them in conducting robust research that develops the knowledge and skills they need for their future career ambitions. I am interested in supervising post-graduate research related to my research expertise in affective science, self-injury, mental health and wellbeing, and experimental and longitudinal methods.
